Whether you run, walk or skip a mile this "call your own time" race around the Power & Light District is for you. You name your time and compete against it for the chance to win prizes, including a Garmin Forerunner, health and beauty items and more! There is no official start time. Run anytime between 6:00 - 7:30PM.
Purpose
The Kansas City Power & Light District and Sports Bras 2 Sports Bars present the Martini Mile benefiting Back in the Swing, a local non-profit organization that promotes joyful, healthful, proactive living after breast cancer.
Cost
It is only $10 to race. Pre-register online or sign up day of the race beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Back in the Swing provide the most complete city-wide, comprehensive, clinical and supportive care network of lifelong services promoting joyful, healthy and proactive living after breast cancer in any city in America, elevating breast cancer survivorship to the same level of care and attention as prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
We are providing a model throughout the bi-state Metro Area that will establish Kansas City as a leader in creating, sustaining and growing breast cancer survivorship clinical care, academic medial research and supportive care programs that will be replicated in communities throughout the country, beginning in August 2008.
